Awaiting Gabriel

Our friends, Ryan and Summer Davis, are adopting the cutest little guy named Gabriel. He's from Ghana. I'd post a picture, but I didn't ask for permission so I won't. Their story is an amazing one. Our church is having a Spaghetti dinner and Silent Auction on the Friday after Thanksgiving (5 to 8:30) to help raise money to cover adoption costs. Before God closed the door on international adoption, we were looking into it and the costs are astronomical. If any of you reads this and wants to help out, the cost is $5 per adult and kids under 10 are free. We got tickets at church, but I'm sure you can show up and it will be all good. We were going out of town after Thanksgiving, but things have worked out for us to stay in town and we are really excited to be able to go and help.

They are going to show a holiday movie for kids and there will be a silent auction with many items from local businesses. Also, if you own a business and would like to donate a gift card/ a service/ etc., please let me know and I'll pass that info along.
